Cutting edge transmitter/receiver combination adds virtual forth wire to dated three wire networks

May 21 2019

Sensor Electronics have recently launched SE-ERA, a sophisticated transmitter/receiver combination that transforms a conventional three-wire gas detector alarm circuit into a virtual four-wire system It virtually eliminates all static and “noise” common to failure-prone three-wire systems.

In addition, the virtual fourth wire makes a differential pair carrying AC power, DC ground.  Besides cleaner signals SE-ERA technology means faster and more reliable alarm response.

The versatile and user-friendly SE-ERA requires no circuit or alarm modifications, no tuning or setup adjustments, no re-wiring, no operational downtime, no component changeover.  SE-ERA networks can be expanded by adding alarm points (detectors) or extended over greater areas.
